LE BE BOP
«Be-Bop-A-Lula» sang Gene Vincent in 1956, «Be-Bop-A-Lula», we wanted to squawk by entering this very sixty bar! True tribute to the 1960 s, the place is magnificent. The immense reproduction of Lichtenstein puts the bar in good value and sets the tone. On the yellow or blue storm walls, everything brings us back to this time rock or yéyé, it's according to… Sheila's old vinyl, miniportraits of American singers, time radios, one would almost expect Charlie Parker to get one of the trumpets of the ceiling and get to play! Because, as we have learned, Be Bop, apart from the glory of the sixties, is a jazz current born in the 1940 s and 1950 s. So much for culture! So it's the perfect place for a glass of wine, the map offers a good selection, all have been tasted and approved, plus prices are honest. We will also have good rum, good whisky, beer or… a mojita! This non-alcoholic cocktail with strawberry, basil, ginger and tonic is the best taste. To accompany the aperitif, homemade tapas is offered (shrimp tempura, gaspacho, piquillos, bread boudin-apple…). Note a beautiful terrace overlooking the street.
