Country inn in Ancy-Dornot offering meats, a home-made Lorraine meal and a dish of the day
An address to discover in the heart of the village of Ancy-Dornot. The old bistro has been transformed into a nice little country inn where you can taste the good recipes of Francine and her son Julien who has joined the team. In the dining room, it is Daniel who treats each customer with special attention. Pea soup, potée lorraine, blanquette de veau, boeuf bourguignon, omelette au lard et ses pommes de terre rôties, tête de veau (the speciality),... are the dishes on offer, all accompanied by a beautiful wine list of Moselle or France. Here, everything is cooked like in the kitchen of a real Lorraine house. The prices are also quite low compared to the generous portions and, at lunch time, the dish of the day is generally unanimously appreciated. Definitely a good plan for urban people who would like to taste the countryside or for the inhabitants of the surroundings who are looking for a place to spend a good moment.
