THE PLAINFAING GREEN THEATRE
We know the Theatre of the People of Bussang, but we know less the Verdure de Verdure. If both have similarities, their stories are quite distinct. At the beginning of the century, the village teacher, Aimé Dodin, had the idea of building this wooden building for his students, so that they could enjoy the good air of the mountain. At the time when tuberculosis was still raging, it was far from being a fool. In 1985, a village association, or rather a group of good friends, decided to rebuild this building that had been destroyed. With a paved scene and stands for up to 600 people, a new cultural site was created. In 1997, there was also the first amateur theatre festival. This is also a place for relaxation, including a children's square, games… A living place of culture.
