Situated between Conques and Rodez, close to Marcillac, Bozouls, Espalion and Estaing, the hotel opens the doors to a charming Aveyron. Marc and Emilie welcome you with a smile. Each of the Auberge du Château's seven freshly renovated rooms is furnished differently. A harmony of textures and colors creates a unique and cosy atmosphere. Depending on the season, breakfast is served by the pool or by the fireplace, with homemade cakes and jams. In the kitchen, Marc Cordy shares his passion for the culinary arts by concocting a tartare of scallops in a hot Asian broth; a filet of herb-crusted whiting with cabbage embeurrée; or a two-cooked free-range duck with warm quinoa and hearty jus. For dessert, the chocolate and praline croustifondant is a delight. As is the pure chocolate moelleux fondant caraïbes. A final detail: Marc and Emilie attach great importance to preserving the environment, and have designed the hotel to minimize its impact as much as possible.
