MONASTÈRE SAINTE CLAIRE
Restored monastery offering a feminine experience in the Montaudran district of Toulouse.
The Poor Clares, whose monastery was founded in 1926 by Father Aloys, a Capuchin, with Mother Marie des Douleurs, abbess of Millau, live in the Montaudran district of Toulouse. Built in 1934, bombed in 1944, it was partly destroyed and partly restored by German prisoners, some of whom became friends. They welcome groups for half-day or full-day retreats in their Sainte-Agnès de Prague room and also a limited number of women (2 or 3 maximum) for monastic retreats. A feminine experience.
