LA MAISON DE LA VIOLETTE
La Maison de la Violette is not located in an old building at the bottom of a garden but on a barge! Moored on the Canal du Midi at the top of the Jean Jaurès alleys, its colourful shades invite you to travel. On board, Hélène Vié has created a space entirely dedicated to the emblematic flower of Toulouse. As soon as you arrive, you will be enveloped in a delicate fragrance. A small exhibition tells the story of its culture. Then we go down a few steps to access a tasting table. On either side of the barge, different products are offered for sale. On the left: teas, chocolates, sugared almonds but also salts, jellies and mustards are adorned with violets. On the right: soaps, candles, eaux de parfum... Of course, you can also leave with a violet plant for your garden.
