Nicknamed the rock of the Pyrenees, the spit cake is one of the jewels of local gastronomy. For the past 12 years, Jean-Noël and Céline have been making this cake by hand over a wood fire. Visitors are invited to contemplate the time-consuming process of making it. The spit turns in front of a fire curtain and the dough is placed on it as it cooks. It's all about the speed of rotation that forms the famous picots. The cakes are on sale in the adjoining shop.
