This brewery, inaugurated in 2012, offers an immersive tour. Discover the entire process, from production to beer sales. From its humble beginnings, the brewery's capacity has grown considerably, enabling it to brew 250 hl of unfiltered, unpasteurized beer using local spring water. Under the direction of Christian Arzur, a passionate brewer, the brewery has expanded its range to include honey beers, whites, blondes and browns, as well as themed and seasonal beers. Message from Management
Since 2007, Brasserie L'Aoucataise, located in the regional produce store in Arreau, in the heart of the Nestes region, has specialized in craft beers. Using untreated spring water from the Pyrenees, its beers are unfiltered, unpasteurized and have no added sugar. The range includes varieties such as Ambrée, Brune, Blonde, Miel, Blanche, as well as fruit and spice beers. Producing up to 60 hectoliters annually, the brewery inaugurated new premises and equipment in 2012 in response to the popularity of its mountain beer. In 2016, it increased its production capacity to 1,700 liters per week thanks to new facilities. 2017 saw the launch of a certified Organic Agriculture range, available in specialist stores in Arreau and other localities such as Peyragudes, Tarbes, and Saint Lary, to name but a few. Managing director and passionate brewer Christian Arzur offers these beers in 33 and 75 cl bottles, as well as 19-liter kegs with tapping facilities. Discover, for example, Indian Pale Ale at 6°, rich in bittering hops, as well as non-alcoholic beverages such as Organic Peach Tea and Blueberry Lemonade. An exciting place to discover!
