LAKE OF SUYEN
At 1,536 m, this lake is the first natural high-mountain lake in the Pyrenees National Park
Located at an altitude of 1,536 metres, Lac de Suyen is the very first natural "high mountain" lake in the Pyrenees National Park, just after the Tech dam, and is remarkably easy to access. Simply park your vehicle in the parking lot adjacent to the power station, then follow the charming path that rises gently between the trees. For the more curious, a little further exploration beyond the waterfall reveals a shepherd's hut built beneath an imposing boulder, the Toue de Doumblas.
