Space to discover the industrial heritage of the valleys of Gavarnie

The Pragnères hydroelectricity discovery area invites you to follow in the footsteps of the builders of the Pyrenean dams, to explore the riches of the "water harvest" which supplies the Pragnères power station, to study the operation of a hydroelectric scheme, to discover the engine room and to learn about environmental preservation, water sharing and the hydraulic professions. Thanks to this visit, you will discover the industrial heritage of the Gavarnie valleys and follow in the footsteps of the builders of Pyrenean dams.

Open according to seasonality. Guided tours for the general public and for groups of at least 10 people. Visit adapted to children. Comments in French. Information and booking on 07 85 36 89 09.

Opening time and information on SPACE EDF PRAGNERES

Guided tours for the general public: From 10 July to 28 August: visits from Monday to Friday at 11am/ 2.30pm/ 4pm and 5.30pm by reservation on 07 85 36 89 09. June/September and during the Christmas, winter and spring holidays: visits from Monday to Friday from 2.30pm on booking, before 6pm the day before. Free up to 11 years old. Adults: 5 €. Child (from 12 to 18 years old): 3 €. Guided tours for groups (max 9 prs): Possibilities outside July/August, Monday to Friday on reservation. Duration about 1h15.

Une belle surprise que cette visite en famille ! Avec ou sans connaissances, on découvre un univers très intéressant, grâce au guide (Axel, très sympathique et très clair). Le casque de réalité virtuelle est un +, mais l'ensemble est très intéressant
