FERME PÉDAGOGIQUE DU HAUT DE LA CÔTE
Located in Ibos, just 10 minutes from Tarbes, the Ferme Pédagogique du Haut de la Côte offers a unique experience for children. The farm is home to around 25 horses, a farm raising Label Rouge South-Western pigs and cereal crops. Visits are guided by Martine Auriacombe, who passes on her knowledge while respecting school learning objectives. David Barrois, a young farmer, is in charge of raising pigs and boarding owner horses. Martine Auriacombe holds a state diploma in physical culture, and has taken numerous courses in ethology and equine and canine behavior. She also has a university diploma in "Relation d'Aide par la Médiation Animale". The main aim of the farm is to make agricultural activities educational while developing other skills in visitors through contact with animals. For an educational and enriching experience, the Ferme Pédagogique du Haut de la Côte is a place not to be missed on your visit to Ibos.
