It is in Labassère, in the heart of the Hautes-Pyrénées, that Ardoisière extracts and shapes its slates. This family quarry produces and works in France with the slate pallet, a natural mineral schist. Manufactured in a traditional way, this product can be adapted to all types of surfaces and projects: interior and exterior decoration, roofing, lane design, etc. In gardens, its use limits weed growth and promotes soil aeration. From extraction to packaging for transport, the slate from the Ardoisière des Pyrénées is subject to constant controls. The slightest defect present on a part of the production leads to its destruction.
