A space where animations and workshops allow young and old to go back 15,000 years in time

Animations and workshops allow children and adults to go back 15,000 years and follow in the footsteps of the hunter-gatherers of the Stone Age. The Espace Préhistoire of Labastide has invented a concept: the "prehistoric" park. You learn how to light a primitive fire or to light yourself with a grease lamp. Inside the cave, the youngest leave their tracks on the rocky walls, while the older ones learn how to hunt with an assegai.

From April 15th, May and September: open Sundays, 10am to 12pm and 2pm to 5pm, Wednesdays to Saturdays, 2pm to 5pm. June 1 to July 3: open Sundays 10am to 12pm and 2pm to 5pm, Mondays to Thursdays 2pm to 5pm. July 5 to August 23: daily from 10am to 5:30pm, August 24 to 31, daily from 10am to 12pm and 1:30pm to 6pm.All Saints' Day vacations: Wednesday to Sunday from 2pm, single visit at 3:15pm. Free for children under 4. Adults: €7. Children (aged 4 to 12): €6. Group (10 people): €6 (groups: possibility of visiting in the morning at 10:30 a.m. and by reservation the rest of the year). Family package (2 adults and 2 children) €22, €5 per additional child. Vacation vouchers. Children welcome. Guided tour. Gift store. Guided and animated tours of 1h30 (free park visit). Bring warm clothing.

Lieu très intéressant pour les enfants. Ils apprennent comment faire du feu, chasser ou encore peindre, ce qui rend la visite vivante pour eux. Le film a visionner dans la grotte est également très bien fait.
