A vast lake with a breathtaking view from its peaks, equipped with a playground and picnic tables

This vast 110-hectare lake is hemmed in by verdant hillsides and seems to be watched over by the grandiose peaks of the Pyrenees. The view of these peaks from the lake is breathtaking. It's a delight for anglers, who come to tease carp and pike-perch, as well as Sunday strollers, who enjoy the bucolic banks. A playground for the little ones, outdoor sports equipment and picnic tables make it a popular leisure destination for families. For a 12 km tour of the lake, allow 2h30.
