A museum that transports you back to 1858, to the heart of a miniature Lourdes that has been entirely reconstructed, to discover the beginnings of the city.

Le Petit Lourdes, open since 1954, offers a unique immersion in the past. This faithful masonry reconstruction of the village of Lourdes in 1858 lets you follow in Bernadette's footsteps and discover the town's history. Surrounded by a garden full of flowers and bonsai trees, you can admire ancient houses, waterways and old mills. This work of art, the fruit of 25 years' dedication by a passionate former railway worker, continues to be maintained by his descendants, allowing visitors to immerse themselves in the Lourdes of yesteryear.

Un endroit plein de passion qui vaut réellement le détour !! Une très belle découverte, un travail minutieux réalisé à partir de plans/cartes retrouvées afin d'être le plus juste et précis possible !! Si la foi ne vous fait pas pousser la porte, vous y trouverez une magnifique réalisation artistique du village de Lourdes!! La fin de la visite laisse sans voix...
Des personnes humaines, souriantes, avenantes, avec de l'humour nous transportent dans le passé !!
Une très belle visite à côté de laquelle il ne faut pas passer !!
