A museum that transports you back to 1858, to the heart of a miniature Lourdes that has been entirely reconstructed, to discover the beginnings of the city.

Le Petit Lourdes offers a unique immersion in the past. This faithful masonry reconstruction of the village of Lourdes in 1858 lets you follow in Bernadette's footsteps and discover the town's history. In the middle of a 1000m² open-air flower garden, adorned with bonsai trees, admire the old houses, waterways and old mills. This work of art, the result of 25 years' dedication by a former railway worker, continues to be maintained by his descendants, allowing visitors to immerse themselves in the Lourdes of yesteryear.

Closed from November 1 to April 11. Open daily and on public holidays from 9 am to 6:30 pm. Adults: €9. Children (aged 4 to 12): €5. Guided tours are available for groups. Family rate (2 adults and 2 children): €23. Served by the little train during the tourist season. Cheques not accepted. Vacation vouchers. Partially accessible to the disabled. Guided tour (for groups (duration: 40 min.) or audiguide).

Magnifique musée familial tout en simplicité et en originalité. Niché dans un écrin de fraîcheur et de verdure. On suit un parcours situé en extérieur qui met en scène le Lourdes de l époque de Bernadette enfant. Extrêmement bien raconté et réalisé. Bravo aux créateurs de ce petit musée. Petite amélioration à apporter en ce qui concerne l'audioguide car on entend celui des autres visiteurs.
