The primitive church was built at the end of the th century by the Saint-André family. Three centuries later, it was given to the Hospitals of Saint-Jean-de-Jerusalem became, since then, Knights of Malta. They strengthened in 1340 to deal with incursions of the Aragonese armed Bands, called Tauzins . If this ensemble, does not bear the mark of the Templar, it is that this order has never stayed in the region. It is one of the oldest and most remarkable churches in southern France. A visit not to be missed.
