L'ÉTABLE DE RAMOUN
Before you even enter the store, the pond on the edge of the stormhouse makes a gourmand call: cheeses, charcuterie, cakes at the brooch and the Pyrenees' bouts… we don't resist. In the village, we have known since when at Ramoun exists and everyone would be tempted to say ever. We would not be wrong, the sign was founded in 1799, it is already a scarcity. Since then, quality has never been denied and it is quite simple, all the flowers of local gastronomy are present. Inside, the mind is at the mount of the mountain, there is a bit of everything and everywhere, the feal is first for the eyes! Huge cow, sheep, goat and mixed cheeses are impressive. At the cutting, you don't know which one to choose, don't hesitate to ask for advice. Pure pork, duck or pound of Espelette, chorizo, serrano, ham nuts: Tarberry beans with cooked dishes such as the country's garnish, the cassoulet or the stew, it is a festival of flavors. Fatty and candied livers are of course there and sweet rays are overflowing with delights, from honey to jams to local cakes. It's an inescapable, true!
