ASSUMPTION CHURCH
With the exception of the bell tower built in 1869, this church dates from the early 16th century. Remarkable for being entirely vaulted with warheads, it has painted decorations in its choir. Four medallions representing the Evangelists, four Prophets and four Sibyls are distributed in the vaults. The whole was repainted in the 19th century. Recently uncovered and restored mural paintings are now visible that represent episodes of the Passion. This church is on the Route des Peintures murales, promoted by the association of the same name dedicated to the heritage treasures of the chapels and churches of the Gers and Magnoac, known for their remarkable painted decoration.
