For an economical and socially responsible (and delicious!) lunch, try the restaurant run by the Femmes Initiatives Laubadère association. Set up in 1997 to provide sustainable employment for women living in this Tarbes district, it's still going strong - more so than ever! It trains women who have difficulty finding work, often due to a lack of qualifications, and helps them to get back on their feet! The weekly menus are detailed on the website and Facebook page.
