On the outside walls, a graffitied, star-spangled Elvis sums up the spirit of the site that Tarbais call La Gespe. If you're looking for a venue where hip-hop and rock meet, you've come to the right place. In its heyday, this 1,000-capacity concert hall is the department's only contemporary music venue. From Groundation and Jane Birkin to Sylvain Duthu, La Gespe is home to everything from metal to electro.
