The entire building, including a guesthouse and an abbey church, was completed in 1964, and since then has welcomed all those who wish to make a spiritual retreat, discover the Bible or simply share the contemplation of monastic life. Lovers of old stones will be disappointed, because Notre-Dame de Tournay Abbey is a recent construction. The first monks settled there in 1952, when the priory of Madiran became too small.
