AUBERGE DE VIELLA
Grill and various home-made dishes to be enjoyed in an inn in Viella, in front of the Pyrenees.
Facing the Pyrenees, the Ardiden massif, and below, the Sainte-Marie castle. The inn, an old family house, has settled in this magical place. The restaurant room has been entirely decorated with blond wood. The grilled lamb AOC Barèges-Gavarnie make the reputation of the house. The pig is another strong point: pâtés, greases, delicatessen, everything is guaranteed house. For dessert, the bread with milk and eggs from the farm in a bain-marie is a specialty to discover. Given the success of the generous menus, it is wise to make reservations.

And yes, you can always beyond its outspokenness, some " désorganisation" when the room is well stocked... But you can also enjoy it!
And then, that said that the Pyrenean montagnard is easy to tame from the first contact?
Note, I am not sure that the Constant one, Etchebeste, Camdeborde, Daguin and other regional monuments, are there!
Now, the painful one. To say that this restaurant is expensive, it is to forget to watch the dish at the foot of eyes, forget to see that behind the chops and other local producers and a proud shepherd- breeder of his work and its valley hidden.
In conclusion, for not expensive than Mc C, it serves a nice piece of the Pyrenees accompanied by setting and atmosphere that go with
