Old castle of comfort and well-being with welcoming service and garden
Esperanza Romero and Dominique Merckel have breathed new life into this beautiful address, a former castle fitted out to ensure comfort, calm and well-being. The recipes are tasty, refined and original, with a lot of home-made products, even jams for the hotel part, the products are fresh and local. The service is welcoming and smiling. An excellent address, all the more so as the restaurant has a breathtaking view of the castle, the church, the garden and its small stream. The wine list is irreproachable in Cahors and Alsace.

. L'hôtel au coeur de la ville est très bien dans son ensemble avec une jolie terrasse. La chambre était joliment décorée et au calme avec une salle d'eau moderne. Propreté irréprochable. Le restaurant où les plats sont copieux et raffinés avec vue sur le châteauet le jardin. Merci pour cette belle expérience. Nous recommandons.
The choice wasn't ours, but ultimately we enjoyed our meal, properly served and tasty in all the four courses we ate.
The combination of dishes was a right equilibrium between colour and taste.
The sole part that I would revisit is the amuse bouche.
