MAISON BRUYÈRE
History: In 1964, Roger Bruyère founded the Sudbiscuits company in Graulhet in the Tarn. The factory then offers sweet biscuits, Occitan crunchy biscuits, madeleines, cakes and many other delicacies... Because of its reputation, the company is growing. Twenty years later, it was his only son, Christian, who took over the company, directing it towards the production of sweet biscuits. He also decided to update regional specialities that had fallen into disuse, such as torches, earpieces, Albi shuttles or Liège waffles. When the father left in 2009, his two daughters renamed the company "Maison Bruyère" in tribute to the family heritage. Today, it is Christian Bruyère's youngest daughter, Léa, who has the reindeer of the biscuit factory. Sold in more than 15 countries around the world (Belgium, Switzerland, Germany, Scandinavian countries, China and the United States in particular), the quality products remain rooted in a tradition and craftsmanship handed down from generation to generation and are still produced in Lagrave in the Tarn.
Products: Shuttles, earpieces, crunchy and other tasty biscuits from the region... all specialities are available for sale in the shop on the production site. Something to fall for, certainly!
