Discover how farmhouse cheeses are made in the Pyrenees thanks to a visit to this ecomuseum, next to the salting room where professionals come to mature their tasty products. As you walk through the door, you will be captivated by the smell of the wheels of cheese ripening nearby and to understand everything about the production process, a short film of about fifteen minutes will show you all the stages. Very relaxing and interesting, it is perfect even for the youngest ones! The visit continues at your own pace in each of the rooms and through the bay window, the salt cellar reveals its secrets. This walk in the know-how ends with tastings and the possibility to buy in the shop all the products matured on the spot: cow, goat, sheep, mixed. The Pyrenean terroir is displayed in this cooperative in all its originality and diversity because cheese is not the only one: preserves, honeys, artisanal products, postcards and books on the region are also on offer!
