DOMAINE DOU BERNÈS
Domaine Dou Hoodwinked has belonged to the Cazenave family for four generations, and perhaps the fifth. South-East exposure, it covers 14 hectares, of which 10 in AOC Madiran, 3 in Pacherenc du Vic-Bilh and 1 in rosé. Among the varieties exploited, apart from the classic tannat and cabernet-franc, small and big manseng and courbu, you will also find the arrufiac, a very old local grape that gives a very special structure to Pacherenc Sec. The wines produced here are distinguished by specialized magazines but also by competitions. Ainsi Cuvée AOC 2010 was awarded a medal at the Paris General Agricultural Competition in 2012. A great reward for this field operated in a rational and environmentally respectful manner to produce fleshy and fruity wines. During your visit you can visit the site and admire the collection of blacksmith tools. It is also possible to be on site for a longer stopover during your œnotourisme journey (check out the area).
