The city of Ancenis has 2 markets. One of them is one of the most important in the department. It is an institution. Every Thursday from 8 a. m. to 13 p. m., the market is held in the city centre, around the town hall and the halls. On the Saturday morning market it takes place from 9 am to 13 pm on the parking street du Pont. Both offer the opportunity to purchase regional and quality food products in a friendly atmosphere. An exceptional and large market is held every year, on Thursday of Ascension.
