OUR LADY OF THE ASSUMPTION CHURCH
Construction began in 1084 when a small chapel was erected to receive a relic. Subsequently, an expansion was ordered, it went hand in hand with the creation of the parish. She had a turbulent history of work, destruction, fire during the Revolution before being completely destroyed in 1888. In front of it is the Virgin and the Child, the Batsamère (medieval characters), a lord of the th century who would have founded the parish and an angel wearing a bites Ave Maria. Inside, you can discover the statuary signed by Joseph Vallet (altar altar - Virgin de l'Assomption), but also the stained glass windows under the word of the Virgin and its coronation, which were offered by the Earl of Chambord. The materials used mainly originate in the region: granite, slate, stone, stone. For the perfect restoration of the church in 1995, the municipality received the award of the historical and aesthetic monuments of France on May 29, 1996 in the Senate.
