An opportunity to visit the museum of Blain, to admire a collection of pieces and vases, with objects of the city of yesteryear
Officially inaugurated in 1985, the Museum of Blain benefits from a donation to the city of an archaeological collection of Gallo-Roman objects found on the site of Blain. Two excavations conducted in the early 2000s have indeed proved the existence of a Gallic settlement in the city. In particular, a collection of coins and vases can be admired, including one from Decimalus with motifs celebrating Trajan's victory over the Dacian king. There is also a collection of Candlemas beans and objects and scenes from the city in the past.
