Wood-fired grills and various dishes to be enjoyed in a restaurant with a terrace near the historic centre of Châteaubriant.
Located close to the historic centre, this is the place to visit for its rustic surroundings, since the decoration is made of old objects offered by family or friends, and especially when you are not vegetarian. The window announces the colour, we are here in one of the wood fire temples and, as we are here, it is absolutely necessary to order the roasted beef rib with Guérande salt of 450 grams. In this room or in the flowery terrace, we are in the heart of a member of the group of the «Country of Châteaubriant Gourmand». It is therefore advisable to start the meal by feuilleté with asparagus or gizzards salad and pork chest, prepared with dexterity by Max and Michel. If you are not fired too lightly, you can gently fold on the crowns of sole to seafood, accompanied by homemade potatoes. The fruit tartelette is indicated to finish with this excellent meal in a warm atmosphere.

Toujours très bon restaurant 5/5
Accueil et service classique. Kirs bretons pêche ou griotte bons. Salades au camembert chaud originales. Escalope à la crème et garniture parfaite. Belle pièce entrecôte avec cuisson comme demandée et frites maison. Fromage classique. Tiramisu aux fruits rouges excellent. Vin rouge Touraine Gamay bon. Excellent rapport qualité/prix.
Unfortunately, the vegetables are poëlées frozen and desserts we enjoyed are industrial... including " dessert of the jour" (the waiter was unable to tell us if it contained eggs): a rooftop!
I do not recommend this restaurant for me is value bad price.

Pour le menu à 33 € avec le Chateaubriant, quelques frites "pas maison" et une toute petite cassolette : un mélange de pommes de terre un peu de courgette avec une sauce très industrielle…
Dessert : Nous choisissons un fondant au chocolat cœur caramel sur de la crème anglaise, au goût TRÉS industriel.
On mange sur des sets de table avec des pubs comme à la cafétéria du supermarché.
Grande déception.
