MARCHÉ
The Châteaubriant market is an institution. It takes place every Wednesday from 8 am to 13 pm on the edge of the old town, just steps from the castle. 130 dealers offer local products, fruits and vegetables, poultry, flowers, clothing, jewellery and hardware items. On Saturday, Place Ernest Bréant, the small market is devoted solely to food with its local producers. The Foire fair, the first of which took place in the th century, takes place every year in September. There is also a commercial and market area, as well as a part reserved for animals, with a equestrian compartment and a élevage. We are indeed at the heart of a rich rural area.
