French cuisine and Berber couscous to be enjoyed in an excellent restaurant in the heart of the old Tuscan town.

In the shadow of the castle, a stone's throw from the Notre-Dame church, in the heart of the old Tuscan town, is the restaurant Au Pied de L'Escalier. It serves delicious classics of French cuisine cooked with refinement: carpaccio of Charolais, foie gras with sauternes and Guérande salt, pink trout or ravioles with mushroom cream..., something to delight every palate. You will also find every day a Berber couscous on the menu which is a great success! A good address to remember to treat yourself when you are in Clisson.

We had taken booking one week in advance to find us the D-day welcomed in a prison way.
After having had just stay, we waited 30 minutes before taking order. However, this restaurant specializes in African cuisine served only 3 dishes African but was not able to provide one of the dish due to chicken rutpure.
That could possibly have passed if you had directed us to another thing but not very attractive waitress were not able to explain her dishes and prefer to leave us in plan.
After a last attempt to choose another dish moving until it, a lower floor with the bar, it has to give us that you could leave without any excuse on behalf of the restaurant.
Disappointed is an euphemism.
