CHURCH OF ST. MARTIN
Go there and contact
Near the town Hall, the Saint Martin Church dominates the city centre. The building is imposing and it is impossible to remain indifferent to its remarkable architecture. Jean Dorian's work replaces a 75 th century church surmounted by a 24-metre bell destroyed by two bombardment on 25 and 1944 July. Above the porch of the current building, monumental calvary made by the sculptor Bizette-Lindet. Inside, the volumes are impressive. The stained glass windows are the expressionist works of the Max Ingrand art glass, which took part in the decoration of the Palace of Tokyo and the steamer Normandie.
