LA VILLA LEMOT
The Villa, built from 1824, is of a neoclassical architecture inspired by the large Roman villas (loggia, porch, colonnade in the chamber…). Beautiful panorama on the castle of Clisson and the Lecourbe Nantes. She visits the temporary exhibitions regularly presented. The interior was built around 1850 by the son of Lemot, Barthélemy, with a large oblong room on the floor, the "gallery of the Illustrious", showing, as a medallion, eight artists of the time, including Lemot, Talma and Boieldieu, allegorical busts of the Seasons by Roman sculptor Alessandro Rondoni, the casting of the judgment of Solomon, which won the prize of Rome in 1790. Today she hosts temporary exhibitions of the FRAC (the Contemporary Art Fund) of Loire-Atlantique.
