DOMAINE LA GARENNE-LEMOT
13-hectare landscaped park, located in the communes of Gétigné and Clisson
This 13-hectare landscaped park is a must-see in the vineyard. La Garenne was purchased by the sculptor Lemot in 1805 and transformed into a romantic "English garden" along the banks of the Sèvre nantaise. A path punctuated by "fabriques" evokes Antiquity, the Arts and local history, to which recent sculptures have been added. The gardener's house houses a permanent exhibition. Guided tours of the park and temporary exhibitions are held in the neoclassical Villa Lemot, with its terrace overlooking the landscape.
