The community of communes Erdre and Gesvres is a territory composed of 12 communes (Casson, Treillières, Fay de Bretagne, Grandchamp des Fontaines, Héric, Nort-sur-Erdre, Les Touches, Notre-Dame-des-Landes, Petit-Mars, Saint-Mars-du-Désert, Vigneux-de-Bretagne and Sucé-sur-Erdre), located to the north of the Nantes urban area. Nearly 60,000 inhabitants live in this area, aspiring to enjoy a pleasant living environment, between town and countryside, rivers and forests. Housing, infrastructure, services and local shops are thus constantly being developed to meet the needs of the inhabitants, as well as to facilitate their daily mobility.
