The village of Guémené-Penfao only delivers its wealth to the discerning traveller. Indeed, it is necessary to arrive at the Chalet take the road from Châteaubriant, then turn at the first fork in the rue des Moulins (not to be confused with the rue des Grands Moulins). In this early th century villa, in the pimpantes colours, take a seat in the nicely appointed restaurant room, a completely renovated establishment. A varied kitchen where fish (we are not far from the sea) and local products (we are at the heart of it) are very present. Here are some specialities: the sauerkraut of the sea and also the fatty liver steak with pepper spray and a touch of normandes recipes. Among the proposals of this inventive kitchen, we will be hesitating between frogs'and scallops'legs and smoking smoked salmon and their toast. To follow you can rely on white butter filet or the kidneys to the cream. It's useless to resist frozen nougat or fine apple pie and its vanilla ice. If you are there for dinner, the good idea is to sleep in one of the very quiet and comfortable rooms of the hotel with simple benefits.
