House located in the heart of the village of Saillé to discover the thousand-year-old secrets of the salt of Guérande

In the heart of the saltmaking village of Saillé, the Maison des Paludiers (salt workers' house) reveals the age-old secrets of Guérande salt: how salt marshes work, how salt is formed, and the work of the salt worker. Thanks to different tools: audiovisual room, model commented by a guide and projection. With the help of a model of the salt marshes, a salt worker will explain how the water flows through the marshes and the role of the sun and evaporation; completed by an audiovisual projection and a weather animation. Then, book a live visit in the marsh with commentary.

Visite très intéressante pour tout connaitre sur la production de sel avec la visite des marais salants et pour finir un petit film

Very interesting visit, our guide, paludier himself, told with much humour all the process of harvest salt, while walking us in the heart of the salt marshes.
