A Christian place of worship combining Romanesque and Gothic art, it is the second most popular religious monument in the Pays de la Loire region.

Place of Christian worship dating back to the Breton origins of Guérande, second episcopal seat of the diocese of Nantes. Built from the 12th to the 16th century, it combines Romanesque and Gothic art. Elegant pulpit outside, historiated capitals, stained glass windows, columns. The lower chapel houses the recumbent of Tristan de Carné, his wife, and a sarcophagus from the middle ages. Second most visited religious monument in the Pays de la Loire, it is registered on the first list of historical monuments drawn up in 1838.

Située dans le centre historique de la ville du Guérande. Impressionnante à l'intérieur avec des beaux vitraux. Mais, l'extérieur avec ses poteaux en fer, c'est quelque chose de spécial. Cherchez leur histoire, c'est fascinante. Lisez: "Vlad" on: angelogeorgedecripte.blog

Per exalçar el patrimoni a la vista es poden buscar adjectius i maneres de descriure'l, però per més que s'intenti sempre quedarà Balzac per posicionar-se un esglaó per sobre: “La ciutat produeix a l'ànima l'efecte que produeix un calmant sobre el cos. És tan silenciosa com Venècia. De vegades la imatge d'aquesta ciutat torna a cridar el temple del record. Ella entra coronada amb les seves torres, engalanada amb el seu cinturó, desplega el seu vestit sembrat de les seves boniques flors, sacseja el mantell daurat de les seves dunes… t'ocupa i et truca com una dona divina que has trobat en una ciutat estrangera i que s'hi troba ha quedat a viure en un racó del teu cor”.

Très beau lieu. Nous avons pris le temps de le visiter à notre rythme, de nous imprégner du lieu. les vitraux sont magnifiques et la tableaux sont immenses. A visiter sans modération :)
