Situated opposite the market halls, the Embellie is a bookshop-tea room, a place where you feel like entering and where, once in, you enjoy strolling between the shelves. Inside, the exposed stones add cachet to this atypical and warm place which was once a garage, and which Eloïse and Simon have metamorphosed in 2014. They now offer a very fine selection of around 5,000 references, for all ages and tastes: the latest novelties, favourites, comics, science fiction, children's books, beautiful books, practical guides, etc. And if, by chance, the book you are looking for is not available at L'Embellie, booksellers will send it to you as soon as possible. A space is also dedicated to children. Eloïse also offers various activities (writing workshop, coffee-philo, coffee-reading, meetings with authors, participatory readings...). And since L'Embellie is also a tea room, you are invited to enjoy homemade teas, coffees, juices, syrups and lemonades as well as delicious homemade pastries, on the terrace or inside. Opt for the Nantes cake with your eyes closed!
