Château de l'Hyvernière, which is deeply rooted in the history of the region, extends its 58-hectare vineyard over the communes of La Chapelle-Heulin and Le Pallet, some thirty kilometres from Nantes. L'Hyvernière, which has been part of the Castel Family of Châteaux and Domaines since 2007, has a beautiful cellar in one of the estate's outbuildings. Jean-Didier Breveta, a native of the area, took over the estate and applies his extensive knowledge of organic and biodynamic viticulture techniques to respect the soil and the environment.
