ABBEY OF BLANCHE COURONNE
The abbey has been classified as a historic monument since 1994. Founded in the second quarter of the th century, his origins would be Cistercian. Until today, it has preserved its Romanesque church of origin and the bodies of mary buildings dating back to the th century. Apart from the revolutionary sales, the estate knows between 1871 and 1917 an intense cultural life. He welcomed many artists, including painter Elie Delaunay and the poet José-Maria de Hérédia. The four wings of the abbey organize around the cloister, which with its exotic garden dating from the th century gives a special charm to the abbey as soon as it enters it.
