DOUCET ÉPİCERİE FİNE
Denis and Gisèle Doucet have set up shop in La Chapelle-sur-Erdre, opening a lovely business on the route de la Gergaudière, a few minutes from the town centre. This former stable is in the heart of a wooded setting. The setting is decidedly bucolic. We are here within a delicatessen. This project has become a reality and for them it is the joy of creating a new local business. A business at the service of the inhabitants but also of walkers and other tourists eager to discover the numerous hiking trails in the area. Here you can find top-of-the-range products at very affordable prices! We come to please ourselves with so many gift ideas and boxes to offer. None of the products here can be found in supermarkets or in the Nantes agglomeration, so you are bound to find some great finds. At the Doucet's we like authentic things. There is a market garden here with fruit and vegetables from the region. One also comes for the meats (Challans), the various pure pork Auvergne sausages. You can enjoy a selection of mature cheeses (Sarthe, Haute-Savoie, Jura). Fine products for everyday pleasures. Old-fashioned mustards, aperitif verrines, a few practical local dishes for bus drivers, jars, you will find gourmet ideas. There is also a section of regional wines and beers to accompany the food. Sweet treats are also on offer with homemade jams, fruit jellies and fine biscuits. Note that every Wednesday and Saturday, Breton buckwheat pancakes are on sale! On Saturdays and Sundays, try the organic bread and buns baked in a wood-fired oven. In season, on weekends, you can find oysters from the open sea! On order for the barbecues, variations of sausages and other varied brochettes are proposed. The quality is there. The website offers us recipe ideas. You have to come and have a look around to admire the place and the charming welcome of the owners.
