Chap & Graines is THE eco-responsible store in La Chapelle-sur-Erdre! Amandine and Katell, the two co-founders, are convinced that healthy, sustainable food has a positive impact on economic and human life, and have taken up the challenge of zero waste in their pretty food and hygiene store. In this link of the virtuous circle, you'll find local, healthy, organic products with no disposable packaging. There's also a bookshop offering a range of books on different themes (well-being, recipes, etc.). On the grocery side, you'll find vegetables, seasonal fruit, seeds, kitchen accessories and beautiful jars of jams, honey, spreads, purées, compotes and fruit juices! Note: all glass jars are taken back by local suppliers. In the fresh produce section, you'll find free-range eggs, cow's and plant-based milk, fromage frais and free-range yoghurt. And on the grocery side, you can shop for local flour, organic and French small spelt, dried fruit (prunes from Lot-et-Garonne, organic and fair-trade pineapple and figs...), organic loose teas and infusions, coffee and decaffeinated coffee... Beauty and hygiene products include creams, local and artisanal soaps not tested on animals, accessories, books and zero-waste textiles for young and old alike.
