CELLAR CEMETERY
Cimetière du Cellier with a Louis de Funès tombstone, in the form of a rectangle of vegetation and a cross
But why stop at the Cellier cemetery? It is because it hosts the tomb of an illustrious and wonderful French actor: Mr. Louis de Funès. Having lived with his wife in the castle of Clermont, he is naturally buried in the Cellier. It was his wife's family, the Nau de Maupassant family, who donated the cemetery to the commune in 1877. For information, his grave has no tombstone. It is in the form of a plant rectangle and a cross (he was very catholic).
