A 700-hectare inland sea, where you can collect samphire, cockles, clams and periwinkles.
This inland sea of 700 ha constitutes a unique landscape. At high tide, the sea covers a whole strip of sand between Pen Bron, Guérande, Batz-sur-Mer and Le Croisic. At low tide, the sea lets you discover the Traict with its shellfish beds and in some places you can go and pick saltwort, cockles, clams and winkles. It is worth noting that the Traict du Croisic is the first shellfish breeding center in France. The cross in the middle of the Traict allows you to take refuge if you are caught by the tide
