If you come to visit the forest, stop for lunch at the Auberge de la Forêt. The property was completely renovated in a modern and contemporary style. The cuisine is traditional and authentic. Local products are showcased and vary with the seasons. Dishes are cooked with talent and originality by the chef, Bertrand Poulaud, for another approach to gastronomy. Here is an example of a dish: pressed duck, smoked duck breast and its raspberry vinaigrette, walnut braised beef cheek with its vegetables waffle and its gravy reduced with merlot. You can finish on a high note with a slate of desserts. An excellent restaurant where you will definitely have a great time.
