CAVE LA MAISON VIEILLE - VINS CHRISTOPHE MAILLARD
Christophe Maillard has taken over the family farm since 1991 and has grown 16 hectares of vines to produce wines from the sablons area, mainly from muscadet, but also from the gros, Sauvignon, gamay and Lotus Pearl. Although grouped within a radius of 1,5 km, this vineyard has a wide variety of basements and is characterized by its rich and complex soils, which gives it high regularity from one vintage to another. During the seasons, the operation of the vineyard takes place by observing and respecting the environment. This method of production is part of the TERRA VITIS process and received its first recognition in 2002. To continue in the process and in the interest of sustainable viticulture, the exploitation was qualified as reasoned agriculture by an organization recognized by the State in 2005. Here you will meet a real passion that will make you rediscover the muscadet! And as a bonus you will discover the small hamlet of the Ep-de-Lecourbe, typical of the vineyard.
