LE VIEUX HANGAR
Jules and Aude Wagner are young market gardeners. They settled on their farm in Le Pellerin at the end of 2016, a former 32-hectare farm where everything remained to be done and cleared. Hence the name chosen for their vegetable and sheep farm: Le Vieux hangar. The couple met at the MIN in Nantes: Aude was a sales manager for fruit and vegetables and Jules, a buyer specialising in fruit and vegetables. They will be cycling around the world in 2009 to discover agriculture and cooking. A decision was then made and they decided to embark on the adventure of agriculture, more precisely sheep farming and organic market gardening. The couple favours short circuits and direct sales in baskets, as well as on markets to promote their products, meet customers and share their passion. It should be noted that they breed a rustic sheep breed, favouring grazing as much as possible in order to promote slow animal growth and optimal meat quality.
